Dólar Estendeu sua Tendência de Baixa em Consequência de Fracas Notícias dos EUA

O dólar sofreu perdas extras em relação aos seus principais rivais na sexta-feira, em razão da divulgação de um relatório Preliminar do Sentimento do Consumidor da UOM, pior que o esperado, que os investidores encararam como um sinal de que a recuperação econômica dos EUA está desacelerando.

Em relação ao JPY, o dólar caiu 90 pips no dia, atingindo a baixa de 78.60, durante a sessão da manhã. A moeda-verde conseguiu encenar uma pequena correção, fechando a semana em 78.75. O USD/CHF caiu cerca de 50 pips durante a sessão noturna, encerrando a semana em 0.9483.

Dando uma olhada nesta semana, a quarta-feira pode ser um dia volátil para o USD, já que a declaração do FOMC as 16:30 GMT, seguida pela Conferência de Imprensa as 18:15 GMT deve fornecer dicas a respeito de como o Fed pretende iniciar uma nova rodada de flexibilização quantitativa para estimular a economia dos EUA. Qualquer conversa a respeito de um novo pacote de estímulo, esta semana nos EUA, pode levar o dólar a significativas perdas, particularmente, em relação ao iene.
