O dólar caiu em relação ao iene durante a sessão da tarde de ontem, em consequência do Índice Philly Fed da Produção ter chegado pior que o esperado, em -5.8, bem abaixo dos 10.3 previstos. Em razão das notícias, o USD/JPY caiu aproximadamente 50 pips antes de encontrar suporte em torno de 79.75.  

Após cair a 1.2666 durante a sessão matinal, o euro conseguiu recuperar algumas de suas recentes perdas em relação ao dólar, atingindo a alta de 1.2736. A moeda foi capaz de se beneficiar dos fracos dados da produção americana, o que fez com que o USD virasse em baixa.  

O dólar conseguiu se beneficiar novamente da aversão ao risco no mercado, ontem, já que as preocupações a respeito da situação política na Grécia levaram os investidores a abandonarem ativos mais lucrativos.
